Shliach Meets With Community Leaders
Shliach Rabbi Zalman Abelsky, Chief Rabbi of Moldova, met with distinguished leaders of the Jewish community in Kishinev to discuss the upcoming festival of Pesach. The meeting took place at an exclusive restaurant in the city. Rabbi Abelsky also spoke about the importance of increasing the observance of Torah and mitzvos.

Matzos for the Jews of Kishinev
Hundreds of Jews gathered to receive matzos at the Chessed Chabad Center in Kishinev, which is run by the organization Ezras Achim, headed by Rabbi Zushe Abelsky.

Chabad volunteers ran the distribution under the supervision of Chief Rabbi Zalman Abelsky. During the distribution, there was also an opportunity to sell chometz. Student shluchim ran a tefillin stand, giving many men the opportunity to put on tefillin.

Community Federation Brings Matzos Further Afield
Vehicles loaded with matza left the offices of the Federation of Jewish Communities-Chabad Lubavitch for the outlying cities of Argayev, Bendery, Belezi, Dubasari, Tiraspol, Soroca, Ribnita, and more. The matzos are being given out in Chabad shuls and welfare centers.

Student shluchim Shmulik and Mendy Zalmanov are going to Moldova for Pesach. They and other student shluchim will help with Chabad activities during this period.
